I would think that this section would be the easiest to complete.  Wrong!!  I have taken a look at a variety of sources and have found that the history of the course is fraught with conflicting or difficult to sort out information.  One source has Stanley Thomson personally setting each blade of grass while another source has him only signing the plans for the course. 

The original design was a nine hole course that was put into action in 1929 with a second nine holes added in 1939.
